RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Wearable art, handled with care.

At Meow Beachwear, each piece is handcrafted in small batches using premium fabrics and artisanal detailing. We take great care to ensure every order leaves us in perfect condition. Please read our return policy carefully before placing your order.

 

1. Our Return Philosophy

Because our swimwear is produced in limited quantities and is a personal garment by nature, we operate an exchange or store credit policy rather than cash refunds for change-of-mind purchases. This allows us to maintain the integrity of our small-batch collections while ensuring you always find something you love.

 

2. Eligibility for Exchange or Store Credit

We accept exchanges or issue store credit for items returned within 14 days of the delivery date, provided the item meets ALL of the following conditions:

• Item is unworn, unwashed, and unused

• All original tags and hygiene liners are still attached and intact

• Item is returned in its original packaging

• Item is not a final sale, custom, or handmade vintage obi kimono piece (see Section 5)

 

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate an exchange or store credit request, please email us at meowbeachwear@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for your return. We will respond within 3 business days with instructions.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

 

4. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or different from what you ordered, we sincerely apologise. Please contact us at meowbeachwear@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order with photos of the issue. In these cases, we will offer a full refund, exchange, or replacement at no cost to you, including return shipping.

 

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:

• Handmade vintage obi kimonos — each is a one-of-a-kind collector piece

• Final sale items marked as such at the time of purchase

• Items that have been worn, washed, or had tags/hygiene liners removed

• Gift cards

 

6. EU & UK Customers — Statutory Rights

If you are purchasing from within the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and UK Consumer Contracts Regulations to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, please contact us at meowbeachwear@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition. Return shipping costs are at your expense unless the item is faulty.

 

7. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the outcome within 5 business days. Approved store credits will be issued via a Meow Beachwear gift card code sent to your email. Approved refunds (faulty items or EU/UK statutory rights) will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
