Each piece is cut to move with the body, close enough to hold its shape in the water, soft enough to forget you are wearing it. If you are between sizes, size up. The fabric, 85% nylon and 15% spandex, has memory. It draws back to you.
Swimwear
Measure yourself, not the swimsuit. If you are between two sizes, size up.
Cup range. Our tops are cut to best fit B and C cups. With adjustable straps and the stretch of the fabric, they also sit well on A cups and smaller D cups, depending on how you like the fit. If you would like a mixed pair of sizes, write to us at

BOTAN Kimono
Garment measurements, laid flat. Cut with a relaxed, flowing silhouette to layer over swimwear or wear open as a robe.

How to measure yourself
You will need a soft tape measure. Wear thin underwear or nothing, as anything bulky distorts the reading.
Bust
Stand straight with arms relaxed. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, level all the way round. Breathe normally.
Underbust
Directly under the bust, where a bra band would sit. Snug, not tight.
Waist
The narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the navel.
Hips
Stand with feet together. Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat, usually 18 to 22 cm below the waist.
Tip. Take each measurement twice and use the larger reading. Bodies fluctuate through the day, and morning measurements run small.
Caring for your piece
Saltwater, chlorine, sun and sand are the four enemies of swim fabric. Your Meow piece is made to meet them, and the care below turns one season into many.
- Rinse in cold fresh water immediately after wear, before swimming again and before it goes in the bag.
- Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. Never machine.
- Never wring. Press the water out gently in a towel.
- Dry flat in the shade. Direct sun fades the print and a dryer destroys the elastane.
- Store flat or rolled. Hangers stretch the straps over time.
