In Japan, the tortoiseshell — KIKKO 亀甲 — is among the most ancient of protective symbols. Woven into the most significant kimonos for over 600 years, this hexagonal motif was not decorative but declarative: longevity, enduring prosperity, the armour of those who build things that last. A pattern for women who are not passing through.
We placed that pattern here, at the place closest to the body.
• 85% Nylon / 15% Spandex — crafted for full range of movement
• UPF 50+ sun protection
• Reversible: KIKKO kimono motif one side, solid black the other
• Gold Meow logo on the solid side
• Gold-plated kitsune charm attached at the strap adjuster
The fabric is quietly assertive — smooth enough to feel like a second skin, substantial enough to hold its line. In the water it moves without clinging. Out of it, it stays exactly where it was placed.
Hand wash in cold water. Dry flat in shade.
